VEGETATION PICK-UP
Collection of grass and vegetation will be each Monday beginning April 1st through the end of October
Grass, leaves and plant cuttings must be placed in open garbage containers and placed curbside
Branches MUST be cut into 4ft. lengths (tied and bundled)
CHRISTMAS TREES
Remove all decorations and lights
Do not place trees in plastic bags
Place curbside
Trees will be picked up in January (Mondays only)
GARBAGE PICK-UP
Garbage must be placed in receptacles (plastic or metal garbage cans)
Cans are to be placed curbside the night before your scheduled pick-up
ONE LARGE PIECE OF FURNITURE IS PERMITTED (PER PICK-UP)
CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS
PLEASE NOTE: All materials from construction, renovations, or demolition, are not considered garbage, trash or refuse
and will NOT be collected by the private contractor or the borough
These items include: Cabinets - Formica - Sheetrock - Shingles - Wood - Lumber - Wood Fencing - Flooring
The disposal and cost of disposing of these materials are the sole responsibility of the contractor or resident
APPLIANCES, METAL AND ELECTRONICS
These items are not considered garbage and will not be picked up by the contractor
Items may be brought to the DPW yard during regular business hours
or
You may call the Dept. of Public Works (201)599-6276 to schedule a curbside pick-up (Fridays only) for a fee of $25.00 per item
