Message from Veolia - GETTING THE LEAD OUT IN RIVER EDGE

Veolia is working in River Edge as part of its sweeping project to protect residents by removing lead from the system.

Brute Contracting, a Veolia partner, will be inspecting approximately 1,100 residences in River Edge where the service line material is either lead or unknown in Veolia’s records.  To schedule inspections, Brute will be reaching out to customers by knocking on doors and also leaving door hangers with a callback number so that an in-home inspection can be scheduled. Representatives will carry identification showing they are Brute employees working with Veolia.

If you would like to view Veolia's records for your property, an interactive map is available at: https://mywater.veolia.us/new-jersey/water-in-my-area/service-lines/service-line-interactive-map.

If lead is found, Veolia will remove it AT NO COST TO THE HOMEOWNER.  Residents will only be required to complete the following opt-in notice:  2011NJ Opt-In Notice v8.pdf
